IG Cottage Doors

The IG range of high performance doors has been extended to include the new Cottage Door series. Designed to meet the need for a more traditional, rural appeal, the Cottage Door series feature an appealing tongue and groove effect. The new doors have the benefit of:

Construction
Robustly constructed from two 24 gauge galvanised steel surfaces permanently bonded to a CFC and HCFC free rigid polyurethane core, having an ozone depletion rating of zero, and glued around timber stiles.

Thermal Performance
Up to four times the thermal insulation value of a timber door.

Corrosion Protection
24 gauge steel skins are hot-dipped galvanised and coated with a factory-applied baked-on primer coat for full protection.

Ironmongery
(See Locks and Lever Furniture and Door Furniture.)

Frames
Doors can be supplied as ready-to-fit pre-hung units in softwood, hardwood or PVCu frames. Part M compliant thresholds are available for use with hardwood or synthetic wood sills.
(See Frame and Sill Details, Part M Frames, Frame Types and PVCu Frame Sizes.)

Glazing
Choice of clear or obscure glass units.
IGD42 has option for lead-effect glazing.
