Door
Construction
The IG Original door is robustly constructed from two 24 gauge galvanised
steel surfaces permanently bonded to a CFC and HCFC free rigid polyurethane
core, having an ozone depletion rating of zero, and glued around
timber stiles. The steel skins have smooth external and internal
faces. The Steel Woodgrain range is constructed in the same way
except the skins have an embedded woodgrain texture to both external
and internal faces.

Thermal Performance
IG doors have a U-value through the door of 0.55W/m2K,
equivalent to approximately four timber doors.
Sound
Insulation
Assessment carried out by A.I.R.O. (Acoustical Investigation and
Research Organisation) indicated that the IG door system should
be capable of achieving an average sound reduction index (100-3150Hz)
of 28 db.

Resistance

Half-Hour Fire Doors.)
Decorative
Glazing Options
Doors can be given extra visual appeal by the use of decorative
glass, including coloured and leaded options, to replace the standard
and obscure glazing.

Glazing.)
